when ssh breaks

SSH NEVER BREAKS, IF SSH BREAKS YOUR SYSTEM IS PROBABLY FUCKED.

my last post was titled “when ssh breaks” because ssh was broken so instead of trying to figure out why i blogged instead. the reason was that mysql was memory hogging my system and nothing else could start, for example a ssh sub process to allow me to log in. as a result my entire system ceased to function because it had no more memory and consequentially i lost all the data that entered my system after there was no more available.

so i actually have posted in the last week. it was a good post too.

first! space faces at steer roast was amazing! if you weren’t there you seriously missed out.

it’s so official. i am moving to san francisco may 21st to work at Dropbox! actually it has been official for a couple weeks now. i’ll be living with mike, matt, jacob, and tj.

am i sad about leaving mit? not so much about leaving mit itself but my friends. the ppl i know and see. i guess there is nothing wrong with starting anew, it’s just that everyone starts anew differently. as in, not in the same way. here are some people i will miss:

hmmmm i guess that’s it? those are *all* my friends. lol that’s an interesting list.

so i am super stressed. i have two more days to get my fluid simulator working. WILL I BE ABLE TO DO IT? it’s like a 50/50 chance. i already have the solver working, i just need to write the display module. i just need to write the report first. blah

i’ve been working on survey master a little bit since it was the culprit behind overloading mysql. lol i still understand the code, i kind of miss it.

more later when i am less stressed.
